This is one of the new promising methods of “FACE LIFT” without any Incision (CUT), Stitches and also does not have a Down Time Effect on the Individual. Special unidirectional cogged / spiked threads are called APTOS THREADS. These are made from “Polypropylene”, same material that is used for making surgical sutures.

When these fine threads are inserted at different angles under the skin using a fine hollow needle the cogs / spikes open up forming a barbed structure, which in turn forms a formidable support system for the tissue & the skin besides acting as a filler. All these result in lifting and tightening of sagging foreheads, brows and cheeks, neck.

Treatment :

Simply put – collapsed APTOS THREADS are put in place at strategic places and angles under the skin using a hollow needle, which is removed once the APTOS THREADS have been put at designated places. The procedure is somewhat similar to receiving a simple injection under the skin. Once these APTOS THREADS are in place the spikes covering the length of the thread open up forming a full barbed support system for the skin / tissue. The support system not only mimics the positive effect of any filler but also grabs and holds the skin in a tighter and more youthful position – Result is a pleasant youthful appearance.

If required APTOS THREADS can be removed anytime.

Period Of

Treatment :

It takes about 45 minutes on an average to complete the process under Local Anesthesia. It does not leave any Scar. Recuperation is fast – Maximum time is three days – Normally it does not require any hospitalization or bed rest, the patient is quite active immediately after the procedure.

Post operative

Treatment :

·     No special care or precautions are necessary.

·     Refrain from vigorous massage, pressing of the treated area for a fortnight or so.

·     For the first 5 days do not sleep on the face.

·  Temporary very mild swelling may occur which will subside in a week’s time. Temporary tape on thread site will be removed after about 72 hours.
